Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an Overnight Cashier to deliver fast, friendly checkout during late hours. You’ll greet customers, process transactions, keep shelves tidy, and help create a welcoming environment for every guest.

This full-time overnight position offers a 10:00pm–8:00am schedule with shift differential eligibility and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and PTO, plus education assistance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing.
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.
