Job summary

Jacksons Beaverton is hiring an Overnight Cashier to deliver fast, friendly checkout service during late-night hours. You’ll process transactions, keep the store clean and organized, and help create a welcoming environment for every guest.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions while following policies for restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain a clean and organized store inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 an hour*.

Shift: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
