Job summary

NFI North, Inc. seeks Awake Overnight Direct Care Counselors for the Transitional Housing Program in Bradford, NH. This residential program provides clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults with mental illness pursuing independent living.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, offering ongoing support, guiding personal responsibility, social skills, and medication monitoring. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling.
• Facilitate participant improvement in personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior.
