Job summary

Monte Nido East Bay in Lafayette, CA is seeking a per diem Recovery Coach for the overnight shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) to support adults with eating disorders. The role involves facilitating recovery within a residential setting, supporting treatment plans, and modeling healthy meals with clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years post-high school education (Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred), 1+ year experience in mental/behavioral health, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-high school education; Bachelor's in Psychology preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with safe driving history.
• Good communication and client relations skills; service orientation; flexibility; ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through their recovery journey as part of the treatment team.
• Provide support and interventions aligned with each client’s plan.
• Engage clients to develop healthy connections with peers and staff in the milieu.
• Assist in food preparation and meal/snack supervision.
• Exposure to therapeutic groups and development of core clinical skills.
• Conduct rounds and provide observations; occasionally drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
