Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Pharmaceutical Lab Technician to support the synthesis, quality control, packaging, logistics, and regulatory compliance of radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnostic imaging and treatment.

You will operate HPLC, GC, TLC, and cyclotron systems, maintain precise GMP/GDP documentation, and collaborate with couriers and customers to ensure timely delivery of biomarkers. This role requires overnight shifts and flexibility to rotate as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical Demands: able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, email).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of GDP/Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and advanced systems (cyclotron) for routine manufacturing and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Author and maintain documentation for manufacturing, quality control, preventive maintenance, customer support, laboratory investigations, deviations, and out-of-specification events.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical equipment.
• Prepare products for shipment, coordinate courier logistics, and provide customer support.
• Maintain aseptic environments (cleanroom) to create sterile consumables and prevent contamination.
• Conduct environmental monitoring on a regular basis and maintain safety and regulatory standards.
