Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in San Diego seeks a Pharmaceutical Lab Technician to handle synthesis, quality control, packaging, and logistics for radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnostic imaging. You will maintain regulatory documentation and support equipment calibration and preventive maintenance to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires operating HPLC, GC, TLC, and cyclotron equipment, maintaining a cleanroom, and coordinating courier logistics while upholding GDP and GDP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, medical technology, or related life science field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GMP/GDP and good documentation practices is preferred.
• Willingness to work early/overnight shifts and in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and cyclotron for routine manufacturing and QC of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Document manufacturing, QC, maintenance, investigations, deviations, and out-of-spec events with precision.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical equipment.
• Prepare products for shipment, coordinate courier logistics, and provide customer support.
• Maintain aseptic environments in cleanrooms and ensure sterility of injectable materials.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
