Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a Food Clerk to join our team in Michigan's Marquette area. You will help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments, sharing product knowledge and guiding customers to what they need.

This role emphasizes a friendly, customer-focused approach, ability to learn store technology, and the stamina to stay active through busy shifts while maintaining clean displays and accurate stock levels.

Responsabilités

• Create a welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.
• Share product knowledge and assist customers in finding items.
• Maintain fresh, full, visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products per standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery teams.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations smooth.
• Every shift supports store performance and customer satisfaction.

What You Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
