Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments.

You’ll build positive connections with customers and teammates while stocking, rotating, and merchandising products to our standards across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. You’ll use store technology, follow food safety procedures, stay organized, and pitch in across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset and friendly demeanor.
• Strong listening and clear communication.
• Ability to learn and use store technology.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Comfort with physical tasks, including lifting.
• Previous retail/food service experience is helpful but not required.
• Follow safety and quality procedures in food handling.
