Job summary

The Cradle Company in New York, NY is seeking a flexible and dependable postpartum doula to provide overnight care as they welcome their second child. Schedule includes 8-10 hours per night, 5-6 nights a week for 4-5 weeks, starting two days after birth.

First week in NYC with following weeks in Sag Harbor; live-in accommodations covered. Ideal candidate has newborn care experience and is comfortable staying with the family during this postpartum period.

Qualifications

• Must be Carrot registered/approved.
• Location prefers NYC or Long Island proximity.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight newborn care, including feeding, soothing, diapering and sleep routines.
• Support parents with both newborn and toddler care to help the family rest and adjust.
• Live-in arrangement with Sag Harbor accommodations for several weeks, with some trips home as needed.
