Personal Home Care of Atlanta is seeking a compassionate overnight caregiver for a 5½-year-old client in Newnan, GA. The role involves hands-on nursing-related support in a home setting and requires patience, reliability, and comfort with autism-related needs.

Ideal candidates have pediatric or special needs care experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication with the family and care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric care or nursing support is preferred.
• Experience with autistic children or sensory/behavioral needs is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts.
• Strong communication with family and care team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care and supervision 3-4 nights per week with additional shifts as needed during medical flare-ups.
• Assist with medical needs and nursing-related tasks as directed by the care plan.
• Monitor health and comfort, respond to changes in condition.
• Support routines with sensitivity to autism (consistency, calm communication).
• Administer medications or treatments as trained and authorized.
• Maintain clear communication with family and care team about changes.
• Keep accurate care notes/documentation as required.
