Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist Per Diem to cover overnight shifts on a PRN basis, three days per week in Park Ridge, IL. The role requires maintaining a safe MRI environment, accurate imaging, and strict safety protocols.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MR and ARMRIT registrations, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. The position includes access to RIS/PACS workflows and adherence to HIPAA and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of MRI technology.
• ARRT (MR) Registered / ARMRIT registered.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe MRI environment and operate the MRI scanner and ancillary equipment.
• Produce quality images with proper anatomy and positioning.
• Communicate effectively with team members and radiologists in daily workflows.
• Adhere to safety, HIPAA, and professional conduct standards.
• Maintain state license and national board certifications; CPR per protocol.
• Prepare patient and document relevant history to aid exam and safety.
