Job summary

Signal of New England is seeking dependable security officers for overnight Alpha Route Patrols in the Greater Boston area. This is a part-time position with opportunities to advance to full-time, driving a company patrol vehicle, performing inspections, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Candidates should be 21+, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, pass background checks, and be comfortable long overnight shifts, working independently, and completing precise incident

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age (preferred for company vehicle insurance).
• Ability to pass a background check and any pre-employment screening.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, and patrol multiple locations.
• Ability to use a smartphone or tablet to complete reports and communicate during shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive a designated patrol route throughout the Greater Boston area during the entire shift.
• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols of multiple client properties.
• Lock and unlock buildings according to client schedules.
• Check doors, gates, windows, lighting, and other security-sensitive areas.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and emergencies.
