Planet Fitness is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Associate to deliver a superior member experience and welcome guests with the brand’s Judgement Free Zone mindset. You’ll handle check-ins, answer questions, promote memberships, and support club operations while maintaining cleanliness and safety across the floor and facilities.

The role requires 3rd shift availability, strong communication, reliability, and a friendly, proactive approach to help members on their fitness journeys.

Qualifications

• Background check clearance required.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
• Help promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and showing support in their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
• Resolve member concerns and escalated to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Perform membership related functions such as sign-ups, contact/billing information updates, cancellations, collecting unpaid balances, and transferring memberships.
• Perform prospective member calls and tours; assess their membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and your assigned area.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free by following the routine cleaning schedule.
• Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas; quickly fix any safety/policy issues and address cleanliness concerns.
• Promptly address maintenance and facility concerns such as broken or missing equipment.

About the Overnight Front Desk Associate Role

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (overnight).
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
