Greenbrier Senior Living in Vestavia Hills, AL seeks a compassionate Medication Technician for overnight care. You will assist with medications, document services, and communicate condition changes to the team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Florida medication training (if applicable), and the ability to work all overnight shifts Fri-Mon. Prior senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medication assistance training or certification that meets Florida requirements.
• Ability to reliably work every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care.
• One year of related experience preferred; senior living experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and meet the position's physical requirements.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with medications according to physician orders, Florida requirements, and community policies.
• Provide care based on each resident's individualized care plan.
• Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Document medication assistance, care, observations, incidents, and communications before the end of each shift.
• Share important resident information with the incoming shift.
• Assist with assessments and care plans as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
