Job summary

Keowee Square (Navion Senior Living) in Seneca, SC is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician/Aide for full-time, 3rd shift (10PM-6AM). You will administer medications per physician orders, assist residents with daily living activities, and provide social support in a caring, family-like setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medication records, monitoring condition changes, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Completion of state-approved Medication Technician training program.
• Current certification as a Medication Technician or willingness to obtain.
• Experience providing personal care in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to accurately document resident care and medication administration.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain medication orders and patient records.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
• Help residents with mobility needs and transferring as needed.
• Provide social and emotional support to residents and their families.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly and professionally.
