Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a driver to operate a 26 ft box truck and work in the warehouse. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers, deliver to customer locations, and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting delivery schedules.

The role requires a Class B license with a clean driving record, a valid DOT medical card, and 3+ years of box truck experience. Overnight hotel stays occur on Mondays and Thursdays; full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license with clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Proven longevity in past employment; strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26 ft box truck safely and in a compliant manner.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers to customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize truck per schedule needs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
