Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to support Fresh departments with friendly service and organized displays. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, help customers find items, and maintain clean, inviting aisles in a fast-paced store.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with customers, are comfortable using store technology, and can lift and stand for extended periods. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
