Job summary

Dietz & Watson is seeking Overnight- Material Handling Equipment Operators for a cold storage facility. The role focuses on operating stand-on rider electric pallet jacks, stand-up high reach (electric), and stand-up forklifts to move product safely and efficiently. The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package and weekly payroll via direct deposit.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, using scan guns for accurate order

Qualifications

• Experience operating cold-storage equipment is preferred.
• Ability to operate one or more listed equipment types.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load/Unload trucks
• Use scan guns to pick product orders
• Removes boxed product from designated pick locations
• Places boxed products on pallets
• Wraps pallets of product with plastic wrap
• Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
• Lifting to 20 pounds at arm’s length on a continual basis
• Occasionally lifts to 60 pounds
• Use of both hands and arms

• Wrapspallets of product with plastic wrap
• Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
• Lifting to 20 pounds, at arm’s length, on a continual basis
• Occasionally lifts to 60 pounds
• Use of both hands and arms

General Working Conditions/Environment

• Due to the refrigeration that is required for the products, the room temperature varies from -5to 40 degrees (F).
