Job summary

Sika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business. The Maintenance Electrician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of machinery within buildings whether mechanical or electrical or PLC controlled.

The shift will be M, T, W and Thu 6pm to 6am and will play a key role in performing preventative maintenance. Salary Range: $45-48 with a 20% shift differential based on education, experience and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Massachusetts licensed journeyman electrician.
• 5 years industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PLC controlled production lines.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Understanding of PLC controlled production lines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery in buildings (mechanical, electrical, PLC).
• Shift is 6pm–6am Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu; perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using voltmeter, ohmmeter, and megohmmeter.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and motor controls.
• Maintain safety and complete work orders and maintenance logs.
