Job summary

Patel McDonald's in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a Maintenance Person to help keep interior and exterior areas clean and to maintain restaurant equipment. You will perform daily cleaning, inspect and service fryers, and support the management team in keeping the facility safe and welcoming.

Starting pay is $13 per hour. This position is offered by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA, and the franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or restaurant maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Capable of basic repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas daily.
• Maintain fryers and equipment; ensure windows and stock rooms are clean.
• Unload deliveries and manage waste and trash areas.
• Replace light bulbs and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Inspect HVAC/exhaust units and roof for debris.
• Support management in safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining excellent interior and exterior cleanliness and maintaining equipment.

• Filter oil fryers daily
• Maintain outside grounds
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms, and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck twice a week
• Empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris

Requirements

Starting pay: $13 per hour.
