Job summary

Patel McDonald's is seeking a Maintenance Person to support restaurant cleanliness and equipment upkeep at our Des Moines-area location. The role involves daily fryer oil filtration, grounds maintenance, interior/exterior cleaning, and assisting with occasional deliveries and waste removal.

Training will be provided to ensure safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Starting pay is $13/hour with competitive benefits for a franchisee-operated restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant maintenance or facilities upkeep preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery trucks 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.

Requirements

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

Starting pay for this position is $13/hr

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
