Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse credential (LPN) is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, discharge and transfers of residents.
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians.
• Medication administration.
• Follow infection control and center policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for best outcomes.
• Identify and report abnormal changes in residents’ condition.
• Supervise care under state nurse practice act and center policies.
• Deliver nursing care for long-term or rehabilitative residents.
• Collect patient data and observe health status.
• Implement and evaluate patient plans of care.
• Supervise other nursing staff when required.
• Maintain documentation requirements.
• Maintain equipment setup and use.
