Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Apopka, FL is hiring an overnight Logistics Manager to lead the warehouse operations for our supply chain solutions. The role includes P&L responsibility, customer satisfaction, safety, and staff management across salaried and hourly teams.

Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $90,000 with a 10% annual bonus eligibility. Expect schedule flexibility and opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 logistics leader.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• Three+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Two+ years managing and leading direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations; safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees under responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and operate the account to meet demands.
• Be responsible for payroll of employees.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L to determine profitability and provide weekly operations reports to senior management.
• Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Hold safety & security meetings and provide safety training to ensure compliance.
