Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a Local CDL-A Grocery Driver for a Walmart account serving the Kansas City metropolitan area. This role features an overnight schedule with daily home time and a performance-based bonus opportunity.

Expect no-touch freight, mostly live unloads, and occasional drop & hook, with backhauls included and some wait time during pickup/unloading. Earn weekly pay between $1,100 and $1,200, with a top range up to $1,400.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A required.
• First Seat / Experienced Driver or Trainee.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Local-only availability required.

Responsibilities

• Operate on a dedicated local grocery account for the Kansas City metro area.
• Deliver dry and refrigerated grocery freight with no-touch freight.
• Occasionally perform live unloads, drops and hooks as needed; backhauls included.
• Local shifts with overnight schedule and 34-hour weekly reset.
• Weekends and holidays required; some wait time may occur during pickup/unloading.
