Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Linehaul Driver to transport freight between service centers and designated points. You will operate tractor-trailers in urban, suburban, and rural areas, verify dispatches, and ensure loads match paperwork with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires 21+ years old, 6 months of driving experience, a valid CDL A with Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to read, write and perform simple math. Shift: Third Shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 6 months driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to pass background check and alcohol/drug test.
• Valid Driver's License and CDL A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must meet DOT physical qualifications for commercial drivers.
• Pass alcohol and drug test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between Southeast Service Center or designated points.
• Operate a tractor-trailer (single or double) in diverse areas and weather.
• Receive and verify dispatch instructions; verify load against shipping documents.
• Verify hazmat product description and placarding when applicable; check paperwork.
• Promote superior customer service and professionalism.
