• Operate washing, drying, and dry cleaning machinery and monitor cycles.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide whether to repair, rewash or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from washers/dryers and place in clean linen carts.
• Set dryers to correct times and temperatures based on fabrics.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters and drain traps.
• Fold cleaned articles and maintain accurate records of laundered items.
