Who are we looking for?
The Store Attendant should be detail-oriented, sociable, and have a strong sense of urgency without compromising quality. They should enjoy working with people, be optimistic, outgoing, punctual, and well-groomed. Maintaining cleanliness and engaging positively with customers while executing routine maintenance on machines are key responsibilities.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Assist with machine usage, respond courteously to inquiries and complaints, ensure positive experiences
- Facility Cleanliness: Keep areas tidy, sweep and mop floors, empty trash, maintain environment
- Machine Maintenance: Monitor machine operation, report issues promptly
- Supply Management: Notify low inventory, organize supplies
- Cash Handling: Assist with payments
- Security and Safety: Monitor for suspicious activity, enforce safety protocols
- Attendance and Punctuality: Arrive on time, notify in case of absence or delay, complete all closing tasks
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic cleaning techniques
- Excellent rapport-building skills
- People-oriented with strong communication skills
- Organized and eager to learn
- High school diploma preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Expected Performance Standards:
- Assist customers proactively, e.g., helping with large loads and offering assistance before asked

- Make payment processes simple and enjoyable, demonstrating how easy card payments are
- Guide customers on proper soap and softener use, promoting high-efficiency products
- Maintain stainless-steel dryers with proper cleaning supplies regularly
