What will you do?
These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed:
- Meet customers with larger bags of laundry and families at the door with a laundry cart and assist them to the machine size that is best suited for their load size.
- Use the phrase, “Let me help you” - Do not use the phrase, “Can I help you?” The first is a statement; the other is a question, which can be rejected.
- Be alert to offer customers help before they use any machine.
- Make the new payment systems easy and fun for customers. Show all customers how EASY and fast card payment laundry can be.
- Help and coach customers on how much soap, bleach, and fabric softener they should use. Always suggest they use high-efficiency soap.
- Wipe down the stainless-steel dryers regularly with the special supplied stainless-steel cleaner. Different wipe cloths should be used for the washers and the dryers.
- Thank every customer as they leave regardless of whether you’re helping them or not.
- Check the parking lot throughout the day to ensure that there is no debris.
- Maintain a positive attitude - smile and get to know the customers.
- ASK customers what they would like in the store to improve their experience. Take notes and share this feedback with your manager.
- TRY to remember customer names to build loyalty. Greet them by name when they walk into the store.
- Encourage customers to tell their friends and neighbors about the store and leave 5 Star reviews.
