Job summary

HOODZ International's Hoodz of the Lowcountry and Coastal Georgia in Savannah is seeking a Part-Time Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to work on rooftops overnight. The role starts with paid training at $20/hr and then pays a share of every job you complete, according to experience.

We welcome trades backgrounds; you will set your available nights two weeks in advance, and shifts start after kitchens close. Company-provided truck, equipment, and safety gear are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working on rooftops.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Available for 2–3 overnight shifts per week, with schedule provided two weeks in advance.
• Preferred: hands-on trade background such as roofing, HVAC, fire suppression, painting, or pipefitting.

Responsibilities

• Execute kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs to HOODZ standards, completing assigned jobs per shift efficiently and thoroughly.
• Follow all safety protocols and NFPA 96 standards — harnesses, gloves, goggles, lockouts — every job, every time.
• Assist with truck setup, equipment handling, and organized teardown at the end of each job.
• Complete all job documentation accurately: before/after photos, job reports, and timesheets.
• Represent HOODZ professionally at every customer site — clean uniforms, clear communication, leave every kitchen better than you found it.
• Communicate your available nights at least two weeks in advance and honor your committed schedule.
