Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our store team. You’ll stock shelves with a variety of products, move items from pallets to correct locations, and help keep back rooms organized for a smooth store operation.

You’ll work with leadership to meet daily goals, interact with customers warmly, and maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The role offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and opportunities for advancement through our development programs.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology and store systems.
• Follow processes and work in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy teamwork and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
