Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our beef processing facilities in the United States. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, with duties spanning hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyors, and welding.

Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Work includes rotating shifts, Sundays, and overtime as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanic work experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
• Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate across management levels.
• Must be able to read and comprehend labels, numbers, and instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Maintenance crews typically work 4–5 days per week, with Sundays and some major holidays; welding experience preferred; available to work C shift (overnight).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets in Beef processing facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and related systems.
• Set up, adjust, and dismantle production equipment; assist with hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
