Job summary

Target is seeking an Overnight Inbound (Stocking) associate in Chicago. The role involves sorting, stocking, and organizing merchandise, ensuring inventory accuracy and shelf readiness, and supporting guest services on a dynamic sales floor.

The position requires 18+ years old, strong guest service skills, and the ability to work with scanners and multiple devices in a fast-moving team setting. Training is provided and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stock, organize, and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability across GM categories and assist with shelf labeling and pricing.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate safety, ethics and compliance in all duties.
• Support guest services including back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up roles.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Assist guests with questions and solutions, and thank them for shopping with Target.
