Awardhomecare is seeking a female Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide in-home care for a male client. This position is hourly and require overnight shifts (11pm–7am or 11pm–8am) with on-site work and the caregiver’s own vehicle. Start date is ASAP.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, with HIPAA-compliant documentation and transportation to appointments as needed.

Formación

• Current New Jersey CHHA certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and maintain a consistent schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or overall well-being.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration according to care plans and agency guidelines.
• Support clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory care needs, and other cognitive challenges.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Document care provided accurately using agency documentation systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed.
