Lemontree Healthcare is seeking an EVS Housekeeper for Coral Gables Hospital to maintain clean, safe environments in patient rooms, public areas and support spaces on the overnight shift. You will perform cleaning and disinfection, floor care, trash removal, and restock supplies while upholding the highest infection-control standards.

This full-time role runs 11:00pm–7:30am, Monday–Friday with every-other weekend, following infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways and public areas per infection-control standards.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE properly.
• Provide courteous service to patients and visitors while preserving confidentiality.
• Report cleanliness or safety concerns to supervisor for quality assurance.
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection-prevention protocols.

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The EVS Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of patient rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces within the healthcare facility. This role ensures that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control, supporting a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Location: Coral Gables Hospital Schedule: 11:00pm-7:30am Shift: Monday-Friday and every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Disinfection: Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas in accordance with established infection control and cleaning standards.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring proper technique to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Trash & Linen Removal: Empty trash cans, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas. Collect soiled linens and deliver them to the appropriate laundry facilities.
• Inventory Maintenance: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available for daily tasks. Report any shortages or issues to the EVS Supervisor.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure all cleaning equipment is functioning properly and is maintained in good condition.
• Patient Interaction: Provide friendly, respectful service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity. Respond to special cleaning requests in patient care areas.
• Quality Control: Assist with quality assurance checks by reporting any concerns regarding cleanliness or safety hazards to the EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull heavy carts.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
