Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a Nocturnist Physician to provide overnight hospitalist coverage from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with a mid-sized patient census.

The role includes performing critical care procedures, utilizing Cerner EMR, and collaborating with APP support and a backup emergency physician. Candidates must hold an active California license and be board certified or eligible, with ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications.

Qualifications

• Active California license required.
• Board Certification or Eligible.
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required.
• Credentialing expected within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight hospitalist coverage from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with an average census of 22 per shift.
• Perform procedures including arterial line insertion, central line placement, intubation and ventilator management; operate within Cerner EMR alongside an APP support team and backup ER physician.
