Job summary

HOODZ of Grand Rapids and West Michigan is seeking an Apprentice Technician to work overnight on a 2–3 person crew, removing grease from commercial kitchen hood systems from the kitchen to the roof. Training will be provided, and no prior hood cleaning experience is required.

• Ability to perform hands-on, active, technical and mechanical work.
• Willingness to learn and apply safety-first practices.
• Flexibility to work night shifts Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Degreasing and polishing restaurant exhaust and ventilation systems from kitchen to roof.
• Setting up job sites according to HOODZ standards.
• Power washing and cleaning with HOODZ tools and techniques.
• Inventorying, stocking, loading, and unloading vehicles.
• Working independently with minimal supervision.
• Driving work vehicles to client facilities.
