Meijer Inc. is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly customer service, maintain shelves and keep the store organized.

You’ll stock groceries, move product from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and help keep back rooms clean while working closely with leadership to meet daily goals. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency, with overnight shifts and opportunities to learn technology as you assist customers and improve store operations.

Qualifications

• You can perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
