Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at a client site, performing patrols and ensuring safety of premises and personnel. The role requires standing for long periods and adherence to site regulations.

The position runs Monday through Friday nights, with a pay rate of up to $18.00 per hour. A valid NYS Security Guard License, a driver’s license, and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
