Signal of New England is seeking a Floating Dedicated Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at client sites in Everett, Malden and Woburn, MA. This part-time floater role offers flexibility to cover multiple locations.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring activity, securing access, and detailed reporting. Local candidates are encouraged to apply and prior overnight security experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have overnight security experience (preferred).
• Ability to perform outdoor and indoor patrols during overnight shifts.
• Strong observational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property on foot, including stairs, during overnight shifts.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report incidents or concerns.
• Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public professionally.
• Maintain a visible presence to reassure residents and clients.
• Write detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or alarms.
• Ensure all building access points remain secure.
