Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring an entry-level team member in Michigan to deliver outstanding customer service and support product knowledge on the shop floor. You will stock shelves, move items from pallets, and assist with merchandising while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

This role involves overnight shifts and frequent interaction with customers, contributing to a friendly shopping experience and store readiness for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn basic technology and store systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets to shelves accurately and efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer interactions as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
