Qualifications

• Three-year certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to respond to alarms and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all mechanical equipment including air handlers, boilers, refrigeration, and emergency power systems.
• Read meters and gauges to verify operating conditions and record data as directed.
• Visually inspect equipment for malfunctions and perform lubrication or repairs as needed.
• Record operations in logs and complete daily work tickets; keep work area clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, heating, and kitchen equipment monthly.
• Respond to fire alarms and in-house maintenance issues; assist with snow removal when needed.
