Job summary

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) in Westville, IN seeks an Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our ER-focused team. You’ll work on the front lines of emergency medicine, triage, treatments, and critical care alongside our doctors.

We value compassionate teamwork, strong assessment skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Night and weekend shifts are required, with growth opportunities and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with VTNE passed.
• Minimum 2 years ER veterinary experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors on care plans and patient management.
• Administer medications, IVs and support blood products as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team and pet parents.
• Utilize diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
• Support anesthesia and monitoring for emergency cases.
