Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks an overnight ER Pharmacist to deliver clinical and distributive pharmacy services in a fast-paced emergency department. You will verify and optimize medication orders, prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounds, and respond to code and trauma situations.

You’ll provide real-time drug information to physicians and nurses in a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent required.
• Licensed pharmacist in Kansas or eligible to obtain license.
• Experience in emergency/acute care or hospital pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and optimize medication orders in an ER setting.
• Prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Respond to code and trauma situations.
• Provide real-time drug information to physicians and nurses.
• Train staff and contribute to education initiatives.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and quality improvement efforts.
