Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking an overnight ER Pharmacist to provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will verify and optimize medication orders, prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounds, and respond to code and trauma situations.

You will provide real-time drug information to physicians and nurses in a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience in emergency department or critical care is preferred.
• Familiarity with antimicrobial stewardship practices.

Responsibilities

• Verify and optimize medication orders in the ER.
• Prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Respond to code and trauma situations with rapid pharmacotherapy support.
• Provide real-time drug information to physicians and nurses.
• Train staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
