Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Seattle in Shoreline, WA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for the Overnight Emergency ER & ICU team. This full-time role runs on a 4 nights on, 3 off schedule (Sat–Tue, 9pm–8am), with flexibility for the right candidate.

Compensation includes a base of $30–$40/hr plus night differentials, with potential annual earnings of $75,000–$100,000+ for full-time overnight work.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LVT license or ability to obtain before start.
• ER/ICU or specialty experience preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment.
• Collaborative mindset with commitment to patient care and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and assessment of incoming emergency patients.
• Provide nursing care and continuous monitoring for critically ill and hospitalized patients.
• Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and advanced treatments.
• Assist with emergency procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia, and sedation.
• Perform laboratory work and radiology support; maintain records.
• Communicate clearly with clients and collaborate with the medical team.
