Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists-Hoffman Estates is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our ER team. The role supports emergency veterinarians, maintains patient flow, assists with surgeries, and communicates with clients about treatments and records.

Qualifications

• ER/urgent care veterinary medicine background required.
• Anesthesia experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of CRI setup/maintenance and lab procedures.
• Ability to maintain medical records and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support emergency veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures and maximize productivity.
• Maintain medical records and health history with hospital systems.
• Communicate treatment plans and medications to clients.
• Consider safety, sterile areas, and lab sample handling.
• Guide and mentor fellow team members.
