Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) in Buzzards Bay, MA seeks an experienced Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician for overnight shifts. The role offers hands-on exposure to critical cases and collaboration with specialty clinicians in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible within 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years of ECC or emergency nursing experience.
• VTS (ECC) candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Perform emergency triage and obtain vitals.
• Assist in stabilization and intensive care procedures.
• Administer treatments, medications, and fluid therapy.
• Monitor pain, vitals, and clinical trends in real-time.
• Assist in anesthesia and emergency surgical prep.
• Communicate with doctors and families.
• Use advanced EMR systems for patient tracking.
