Job summary

Callaway Golf is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, repair, and upgrade automated equipment on the production floor in Chicopee, MA. Responsibilities include programming controllers, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, and performing preventive maintenance using a CMMS system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine automation, robotics, and electrical theory, plus a high school diploma or trade training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience acceptable.
• Math, computer, electrical and mechanical understanding required.
• Preferred graduation from a trades program.
• On-site Fork Truck certification required.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware on new and existing equipment.
• Order and repair or replace broken components and parts.
• Program controllers and design programs to fit business needs.
• Modify and upgrade existing circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as scheduled.
• Use CMMS to report and record actions.
• Complete repairs promptly per manufacturer guidelines.
• Contribute to process efficiency improvements.
• Adhere to PPE and safety processes.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
