Job summary

The Arc Columbia-Saratoga in Hudson, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the overnight sleep shift. You will provide a safe, supportive presence during the night and assist individuals with morning routines, including breakfast and getting ready for the day.

This role includes paid sleep hours, PTO accrual, and access to our comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities involve promoting independence, documenting care, following policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and computer skills required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; NYS driver license required.
• One year of experience with disabilities preferred; ability to complete agency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision in a safe, comfortable home.
• Assist with personal care, morning routines, breakfast, and household tasks.
• Support independence and self-advocacy for people we support.
• Complete required documentation and communicate updates to staff.
• Follow agency policies and safety procedures.
