Job summary

Vomela is a full-service visual communications company seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator for our third shift. You will operate large format digital presses, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain quality through color management and troubleshooting.

Training on first shift is provided, with a starting pay of $17–$20 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential. Join our team to contribute to dynamic brand solutions for global and local clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a digital press operator with large format printers.
• Strong knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with color management and print quality assurance.
• Ability to read print specifications and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate large format digital printing presses and follow production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
• Review job specs and adjust color profiles, resolutions, and layouts.
• Set up machines for different substrates and print jobs.
• Monitor print quality and make real-time adjustments.

Job Summary:

Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.

What You'll Do:

• Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing.
• Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.
• Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
• Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery.
• Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process.
• Other duties as assigned.
